Rationale
"THINK CirEco"
Objectives:
The primary objectives of the "THINK CirEco" project aim at creating a significant impact on adult education and foster a circular economy mindset:
Promoting Synergies and Learning: One of the key goals is to create synergies that support learning within adult organizations. This involves enhancing collaboration and communication between adult education entities. By doing so, the project aims to strengthen the capacity and knowledge-sharing among these organizations.
Empowering Adult Educators: "THINK CirEco" seeks to empower adult educators by providing them with valuable tools and resources. Specifically, it aims to equip them with practical methods to engage and educate NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and adults with low skills in the Circular Economy. This empowerment is intended to enable educators to guide their learners towards developing an entrepreneurial mindset rooted in circular economy principles.
Creating Measurable Impact: The project envisions creating a tangible and measurable impact within the adult education community and among relevant stakeholders. This impact includes cultivating eco-consciousness and fostering a stronger connection between education and the labor market. By doing so, it aims to facilitate a smoother transition for adult learners into sustainable and circular economy-oriented careers.
Implementation:
The implementation of the "THINK CirEco" project involves a strategic and comprehensive approach, incorporating various activities:
Management and Coordination: Efficient project management and coordination are crucial for success. This includes maintaining clear internal communication among project partners, implementing stringent quality control measures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting throughout the project's duration.
Sharing and Promotion: To reach a wider audience and raise awareness, the project includes activities such as organizing National multiplier events. Additionally, it focuses on establishing a distinct project identity, maintaining an active and engaging presence on social media platforms, and leveraging EU educational platforms like EPALE for dissemination and outreach.
Project Results-Related Activities: The project involves critical activities directly linked to its desired outcomes. These include extensive research to inform project decisions, collaborative design and development of educational materials, rigorous testing (including C1, the initial testing phase), and continuous improvement of project outputs to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
Results:
The "THINK CirEco" project aims to deliver impactful and practical outcomes:
Training Material: The project will produce "EntreComp for the Circular Economy," a comprehensive set of training materials. These materials will serve as a valuable resource for educators working with NEETs and low-skilled adults. They will offer practical methods and approaches to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and competencies rooted in the Circular Economy, making education more impactful and applicable to real-world challenges.
Interactive Learning Community: The development of an online platform called "The Interactive Learning Community" is another key outcome. This platform will cater to a diverse audience, including adult educators, trainers, NEETs, and low-skilled adults. Through interactive learning resources, it will provide insights into the Circular Economy, offering educational materials and showcasing inspiring video stories of successful entrepreneurial initiatives. This platform will serve as a hub for learning, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, promoting the adoption of circular economy principles in various educational contexts.
